Community Organizing

Community Organizing
Communities as co-creators of change
We partner with communities not as beneficiaries, but as co-creators of change. Lasting transformation begins at the grassroots, so our first task is rarely to hand over a solution, but to help people organise around what matters most to them.
How we work
Building power, voice, and networks
We partner with communities to build the power, voice, and networks they need to shape their own futures: convening residents around shared priorities, strengthening local leadership, and turning collective energy into structures that outlast any single project.

Ground-truthing realities
It begins with listening
Ground-truthing climate realities begins with listening. During our Climate Vulnerability and Capacity Analysis across the Iringa, Mbeya, and Njombe regions, we convened separate focus groups of youth, women, elders, and mixed community members in ten villages, enabling communities to map their own realities, validate local conditions, and articulate, in their own words, the climate risks, vulnerabilities, and capacities they experience every day.
