Beyond either / or,there is a third way.
Third Alternative works alongside communities, institutions and enterprises across Tanzania and the wider region to build solutions that neither side of a debate saw coming. Where others see a trade-off, we look for the option nobody has put on the table yet.
Our role is to find the option that serves everyone's interest, then stay long enough to make it work in practice.

We believe every problem hides a synergy nobody has looked for yet, and we build the space, the tools, the trust and the courage it takes to find it. In practice that means asking better questions before offering answers, and staying with the work until the answer holds.
